10 Things To Do With Your Family In Vancouver This Christmas

It’s coming! The Christmas season is coming!

A benefit of living in such a large and spread out city is that there are a ton of events happening for families around the holidays! Whether you want adventures in the mountains, bright city lights downtown, or something more low key in the country, there is truly something for everyone!

Need a few ideas? I’m here to help you celebrate my favourite time of the year! Here are 10 things to do with your family in Vancouver this Christmas!

Though the evening was kind of a bust, my mother in law captured a great photo of our family!

1. Bright Nights at Stanley Park

Bright Nights at Stanley Park is always a highlight of the Christmas season for our family! It’s one of the few times a year we make the trek from our home in the Valley to Downtown Vancouver. Parking is free, entering the light display at the Train Plaza is by donation and tickets to the Bright Nights Train ride range from $9-12 per person. Kids 2 and under are free. Much of the funds raised go towards the BC Professional Fire Fighters’ Burn Fund.
